We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This is a work from home position with the opportunity for limited regional travel. Currently looking for 1 or 2 individuals on a 6mo - 1 yr contract. Possibility for permanent Full time hire with benefits.
As the Captain Recruiter at Best Christmas Ever (BCE), you’ll leave your mark by:
● Working alongside our team to help assist with our Volunteers, what we call “BCE Captains” and their teams to ensure their success
● Manage and match 1st year captains for the mentoring program.
● Help recruit high-performing BCE Captains who align with BCE’s culture
● One on one interviews for first year captains
● Project management and launching successful kick-offs with our Captains and their business partners
● Understand and assist with the Operations of the BCE Season, including helping volunteers drive Family Nominations and Selections
● Assist in training and communication systems and processes.
● Create strategies for implementation of new systems and processes
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, BCE is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
● 3-5 years of sales, service, or customer-facing experience
● An energized and organized self-starter with a track record for improving the processes and systems around them
● A persistent, hungry, resilient, team player with a people-first attitude
● Experience working with and leading a wide-range of people
● High organizational skills
● Ability to lead, manage and supervise
● Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
● A natural curiosity as to what separates good businesses from great businesses
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Prior experience at a growth stage organization
Prior experience in a client-facing role working specifically with rapidly growing, fast-paced culture companies
Prior experience in implementing systems and processes to drive efficiency across the organization
Experience with Kindful
The ability to think creatively, challenge assumptions and take risks on ideas to further BCE’s mission to end human suffering during the Christmas season
Prior experience working with managing and maintaining donor and volunteer partnerships
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic (mainly regionally)
Relocation Assistance: Not authorized
This position is flexible. Whether you are looking for a contract Part time or Full time position you are encouraged to apply! Contract terms are also flexible from 6mo -1yr. Possibility for long term full time employment available.
